Questioning my GP cert ??

This case linked to below is a person who was dismissed after refusing to engage in requests from their employer for more details about their health status or to attend their employers Occupational Health Department.
This one does come up. That people submit a GP Cert. to say they are too sick to come to work. Then they feel that 'any further details' are 'none of their employers business'.
It does surprise and annoy some people that an employer does not always have to accept a 'sick cert' at face value. They can question it and in certain circumstances, request for 'a second opinion'.
Of course everybody wants their health details to be private. Employers have rights as well though. In situations where they are trying to run a business.
