Judges warning over solicitors using AI after three cases thrown out
19/02/2026
Is an article giving out about people using AI. It does make mistakes, yes. But then it depends how you use it. Material can be cross referenced and checked before using it.
Every case is different alright. It can not understand context. It answers the questions you ask it. So if your question is out of context then obviously the answer you get will be as well.
It is a tool not an end in itself. Is like a hammer or a car. Depends how you use the hammer or drive the car whether it does good or bad.
Is here to stay. Whether courts like it or not. Though I can fully understand them getting fed up with how people are using it. And fictitious cases.
I get fed up myself with people telling me what AI says. Or things messed up because they used AI.
Is part of our lives now.
